A converted barn and a secret walled English garden overlooking a lake – you are spoilt for choice when it comes to beautiful locations to say ‘I do’ at Upton Barn in Cullompton, Devon. It’s the quintessentially English backdrop for those that are taken with the romance of the English countryside. A lovingly restored 17th-century cider barn, a walled garden and views over the Blackdown hills can be found within 160 acres of organic farmland. Upton is still a much-loved family home, but is registered for civil ceremonies accommodating up to 120 guests; couples can choose to say their vows in the cosy barn with romantic lighting, a wood burning stove and underfloor heating throughout, or outdoors under the hand-crafted oak arbour within walled garden.
