Plans are in full swing for Berkshire’s biggest wedding show at Ascot Racecourse which will be opening its doors to hundreds of brides and grooms-to-be on March 12 and 13. With just a few weeks to go, here’s a look at what’s on offer.
With nearly 100 exhibitors from venues to bridal boutiques, photographers to cake-makers and florists to stationers, the show will host a range of the region’s finest wedding experts who will be on hand to help you plan the big day. With a brand new floor opening, the exhibition promises to be bigger and better than before, with even more to look at.
If it’s bespoke you’re after, designer Tracey O’Hanlon will be at the show who has over 30 years of experience in the bridal industry. She creates bespoke, tailor-made gowns, so no dress is the same. Footwear is not forgotten either, with Shoes by Suzanne on hand who crafts, designs and creates individual shoes for adults and children.
For the bride who is looking for something a little quirky for her wedding, Vintage Camper Booths will be displaying their multi-use VW campervan downstairs in the exhibition, which can be hired as a photobooth or a sweet cart. Blacks Burgers will be giving out samples from their stylish van, along with Yum Yum Tree Fudge and Grown Up Marshmallows which make the perfect fun wedding favours.
The show is pleased to announce that international photographer Leslie Couchard will be displaying her work at the event. This will be the first wedding show which she has exhibited at. London-based luxe jewellery brand Love Opulence will also be showing off their exquisite jewellery pieces.
The phenomenal catwalk show is guaranteed to be a highlight of the event, which is not to be missed. The professional models will be showing off the latest bridal fashions in an entertaining performance which combines fun choreography, dance moves and spectacular music. Expect beautiful bridal gowns from The Wedding Warehouse and Confetti Bridal, menswear from high-street favourites Slaters and Moss Bros, plus bridesmaid dresses from Borrowed Blue & Lace, among others.
Take a break downstairs in the café, while being entertained by a variety of singers who will be performing on the stage. Opera duo Belle Voci will be wowing the crowds along with wedding and function band Karizma and vocal harmony group The Rockafellas. Magician Clive Winterton will also be performing tricks on his stand. There will be a champagne bar too, to lend even more sparkle to the occasion.
Every bride will walk away with a free copy of the brand new issue of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire Bride magazine, and the first 100 brides through the doors will be lucky enough to get a goody bag packed full of treats including cake favours from The Blushing Cook, keyrings from Shoes by Suzanne, fudge from Yum Yum Tree Fudge, confetti from Shropshire Petals and tip cards from Lyndsey Challis Photography.
